Guest Guide

In this manual you can find a lot to make your stay go as smoothly as possible.However, do not hesitate to call us (0032 475 79 35 44) if something is not clear or if a problem cannot be solved. We wish you a great stay!

Linen:

bring your own duvet covers (150 X200) and pillowcases (2 per person), for cot 120 X 60 cm: bring blanket and cover. Also bring bath towels and extra towels for the sauna or the beach.

Thermostat / heating

The central heating is not on in the summer period, but there is a fireplace cassette with blower and individual heating in the bathroom on cooler days. Central heating operation: set the thermostat knob in the living room to 21 degrees and regulate the temperature in each room with the knobs on the radiators. Please close the knobs on the radiators if you want to ventilate your room or if no one is present.

Warm sunny days:

Timely close curtains in garden rooms and sliding doors to prevent rooms from overheating, also keep windows closed in bedrooms during the day.

Hot sanitary water

Production hot water bathroom is by boiler in the attic. Boiler only works if water flows through boiler, so wait a bit until you have hot water. If no hot water, give me a call. Hot water in the kitchen is by boiler under the sink. Check whether temperature is set to maximum. Flow rate is not great (a little patience) and overpressure boiler runs through the tap, so dripping tap occasionally is normal, this is overpressure that must be removed.

Telenet / internet connection

This connection is located in the corner of the living room next to the desk. Here you can also connect an Ethernet cable if desired. Extra amplifier WiFi signal on the terrace so that there is good coverage in the garden.

Washing machine

Is in the annex room (garage): washing product is present and a quick guide is included. You can also find a laundry basket, washing pins, drying rack, ironing board and iron.

Use sofa bed living

Open by lifting the front upwards and then unfold the front bed leg. Duvets and pillows are in the 2 plastic boxes (also handy to put everything back away during the day).

TV and telenet

You have to use the 2 remote controls to switch on the TV and modem Telenet (black box on the amplifier radio).

Waste

There are garbage cans everywhere in the house and also outside, with plastic bags in them. Spare bags in the kitchen, please use these to keep the bins tidy. Refrigerator

There is a refrigerator in the kitchen and refrigerator and freezer in the garage. (turn knob, the higher the number, the colder)

Access and exit keysersnest Enter via Nuki keypad or via application on your device. Leaving the keyser's nest: close the sliding door and turn the garage door knob before you close the gate. There is no key to the garage door and there is no link between the Nuki system front door and the garage door lock. Front door closes automatically when you pull it shut.

Use infrared sauna health mate

Unlock child safety at the top of the entrance door (sauna is not a playhouse, also a possible danger for the children). For hygienic reasons, always use a towel to sit on. Set power to on Light to on . There are 2 switches on the ceiling: one for the starry sky and one for the radio There are 2 switches for the underfloor heating on the front of the long bench. Set your desired temperature (recommended for this type of sauna is 52 degrees). You can set the time with the push button time. After a minute you will see on the display : Lo. ( low temp) , warming up is fairly fast and it is better to start early and let the body slowly get used to the increased temperature. There are 2 sliding grids at the top, if it gets too hot. A session is recommended for a maximum of one hour and not alternating hot and cold as in another sauna. Close and lock the sauna door after use, also to keep cats out.

A dishwasher

Place settings can be placed at the top in this model. Blocks of detergent under the sink. Large wine glasses can't go in, that's what we have the kitchen towels for, to dry them off after washing in the sink. Always check the filter for residual waste after use and empty it when necessary, otherwise no clean dishes.

Fire place

Put wood in it and put firelighter on top. Light and close the door . There is a blower system to heat the air: activation via the white button to the right of the fireplace, the fan only starts working when the fireplace has a higher temperature.

 User manuals for most of the equipment in keysersnest can be found in the red and blue covers, which are in the library. If something is not clear or it does not work, please contact us and we will help you as soon as possible. We do have a reserve of most devices.

Additional Rules

The garage gate can only be closed on the inside (move the button under the handle and close the gate), so do not forget to close it before you leave the house.

Put all waste in plastic bags before leaving in the garbage bags in the garage (spare bags in kitchen).

Please respect the neighbors and so no music outside after 2200 h.

Please tidy up at the end of your stay and then sweep or vacuum. You may leave the last dishes in the dishwasher and press start. Other dishes please in their place in the cupboards.

You may leave ashes from the barbecue, the fire pit and the fireplace, we will clear this up for you.

To avoid odor nuisance for future guests, we cannot allow grill, fondue, plancha or deep-frying inside the house. Also, do not use the barbecue under a roof to avoid soot damage.

Flat roof above living space extension, please do not enter, danger of falling and risk of damage.
